This year, our annual workshop will take place on 8 and 9 September 2026 at the Harnack House in Berlin. Registration for the workshop will open in spring 2026.

The SusMax Scientific Committee will be launching a lecture series entitled ‘SusMax engaged’ in April 2026. Every two months on the last Wednesday of the month, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., the Committee will invite speakers from the SusMax subject area. We are pleased to announce that nine projects have been selected for funding under the second project call.

To bring together scientists from the field, we are organizing a kick-off workshop that will take place from October 21, 2025, 2 pm to October 22, 2 pm at our Max Planck Campus (room Z-1.052). In addition to short presentations of all projects approved in the first call, we have some invited talks, a poster session and plenty of space to get to know each other, discuss and network.
