Marius studied chemistry and management at Ulm University, receiving his bachelor’s degree. Following an internship at Schott AG in Mainz, he moved to the University of Münster to pursue his master’s degree in chemistry. There, he specialized in the synthesis and self-assembly of block copolymers under the supervision of Prof. André Gröschel. After graduating in November 2021, Marius joined the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in May 2022 as a Ph.D. student in the group of Prof. Tanja Weil. For his Ph.D. research, Marius focuses on the development of cell-responsive hydrogels.
