Dr. Lovish Gulati

Postdoctoral Researcher @ MPI for Medical Research, Micro Nano and Molecular Systems Lab

Lovish Gulati is a postdoctoral researcher in the Micro Nano and Molecular Systems Lab of Prof. Dr. Peer Fischer at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg, Germany. He has a background in physics and completed his Ph.D. in 2025 at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg. He earned his M.Sc. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India, and his B.Sc. in Physics from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. His research interests lie in interdisciplinary science, with a particular focus on liquid crystalline systems in optical and magnetic fields, as well as applications of ultrasound. He has worked on 3D fabrication using holographic methods, as well as applications in micro- and nanoscale systems.
