Postdoctoral Researcher @ MPI for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems

Dr. Argha Chakraborty is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Magdeburg in the Material System and Engineering Department headed by Prof. Sohini Kar-Narayan, where he is engaging in the thin film fabrication from Metal-organic Frameworks and Covalent-organic Frameworks. He started his academic career in Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, affiliated with the West Bengal State University, India, where he did B.Sc. He completed an M.Sc. from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur (IIEST Shibpur). He was awarded a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) in 2024. His doctoral research was based on the triazine-based porous organic polymers, supervised by Prof. Suman Mukhopadhyay. Then he moved to the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge, UK as a Post Doctoral Research Associate in Prof. Sohini Kar-Narayan’s group.
