Group Leader Powder Diffraction and Surface Spectroscopy @ MPI für Kohlenforschung
Claudia leads the group “Powder Diffraction and Surface Spectroscopy” in the Department of Heterogeneous Catalysis at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung (MPI Kofo). She is also an Extraordinary Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Her research focuses on structure-property relationships in applied materials using in situ and operando characterization techniques. For several years, she has also been actively engaged in the fundamental aspects of mechanochemistry for materials synthesis, transformations, and chemical reactions.
