Postdoctoral Researcher and Head of the Reactor Lab @ Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society, Department of Inorganic Chemistry

Pierre Kube is a researcher and head of the reactor lab in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at the Fritz Haber Institute. His research focuses on analyzing reaction networks at plasma-solid and gas-solid interfaces. Beyond his research, he designs reaction cells and analytical reactor setups for various thermocatalytic applications. He studied chemistry at the Humboldt University of Berlin, where he focused on heterogeneous catalysis. After completing his diploma thesis at the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis, he moved to the Fritz Haber Institute for his doctoral studies. His interests also extend to process engineering, the kinetics of heterogeneous catalysis and gas phase reactions as well as the kinetic modeling of these processes.
