Stefanie Duvigneau is a biosystems engineer by training. Her current research focus is on process intensification using mathematical models of microbial polymer bioprocesses. She is working at the cutting edge between practical laboratory and theoretical work. Within her work, she focuses on developing sustainable, optimized, and new bioprocesses using biogenic waste and industrial side streams as starting material.
